ARGH!!!

1) YOUR MOVIE DID NOT BOMB YET
2) You totally overreacted there, Mary Jane. One bad night and you quit? Maybe you don't have what it takes to be an actress.

Mary Jane is tougher than Spiderman? How do we fix that? Maybe we can make spidey as tough as people expect a superhero to be - eh, too hard. Why not just throw a setback at MJ and have her collapse?

This strip must be written by Stan Lee's seven-year-old grandson. I don't have any other explanation for the lameness and character tone-deafitude that doesn't make me incredibly sad.

Even Spiderman doesn't quit that easy. You know it's bad when Mary Jane is lazier than he is. As stupid as Spiderman is, he keeps trying and eventually some accident occurs and the villain trips over his own feet and dies. But no, Mary Jane has a bad performance and just quits. Soon the entire strip will just be them sitting in front of the television, staring. Well, more than they do now.

A strip written by a seven-year-old would have more fistfights and explosions and less crying and television watching.

Who cares about MJ's career! Can we get back to the Vulture now?

Saying the words "Even if your movie DID bomb!" while attempting to comfort your weeping spouse is, in and of itself, sufficient grounds for divorce.

And yes, an actress who quits after one direct-to-DVD release and one bad night at the theater is not anywhere near tough enough for the acting game. She should pursue a less-demanding career, like maybe sitting at home and furrowing her brow with concern while her superhero husband is out fighting crime. And, of course, keeping the TV warm for him.

She's pregnant.

Also, I loooooooove how Peter puts emphasis on MJ's failure. Great boyfriend.
