It would be really funny if the helicopter had absolutely nothing to do with Kordok and was just flying overhead. Instead, Kordok's "Ace in the hole" was another swift punch to Spider-Man's gut. Also, Maria Lopez could probably wiggle her way out of Kordok's grip if she really wanted to.TIL: Kordok and Maria look like young lovers in the second panel.

Aaaaand today, Kordok's wound returns to the left arm. So apparently the Sunday artist wasn't fully informed, or he just doesn't give a rat's.
Couldn't Spider-Man just shoot webbing at Kordok's arm so as to yank Kordok's one good arm away from Maria, permitting her to escape?
