Unsportsmanlike Behavior

The Vulture really is just a costumed thug, isn't he? Any other villain would probably decide, "Hey, Spider-Man saved me. I'll still escape while he goes off to rescue Jameson, but I won't try to beat him up." If I was Spider-Man, I would just turn around and punch the Vulture in the face. Also, where's the Spider-Sense?

TIL: The random bit of people and scenery in panel three. Weird.

So...where's the other halves of those people? Or is that just a bunch of torsos bolted to a table?

PS: Welcome back.

Jeeeeez. Turn your back on a super-villain? With this kind of smarts, Spidey should have been dead years ago.

And I can tell Stan Lee doesn't read this blog, because if he did, he would've had the Vulture use a brick to konk Spidey in the head.

I think the Vulture must have spun around to thump Spidey, and his wings sliced everybody in half.

Speaking of, why wasn't Walk Hard the biggest movie of all time? It was hilarious! "I'm cut in half pretty bad Dewey".

I think that those peoples feet are smarter than their heads and they knew to run away with a super 'villain' only a few feet away. but the heads wanted to stay and watch.

or maybe someone forgot to draw them......

Speaking of people getting sliced in half, why didn't Draco just do that? I mean, if Spidey can't see it coming anyway he could've ended this entire strip right there. Of course I just answered my own question, but still!

"Walk Hard" would have been infinitely better if it wasn't for those two bits in it...

This is New York City... do they allow concealed handguns? Even if they don't, why don't we ever see a bystander pull out his or her Glock and, at the very least, point it at the supervillain? And it makes no sense that Spidey's only priority was making sure the Vulture was safe, rather than safe and immobilized.

Mike, are you talking about the two cutting in half bits, or making a subtle and frankly fabulous pun on "two bits"?

With the former, I disagree -- what I loved about the movie is that just about everything that happened was completely over the top, and everybody played it completely straight.

I just watched Top Secret again, which I really enjoy, but every now and then somebody starts to ham it up -- and that's wrong. Walk Hard never did that. There was never a moment in the entire movie when somebody acknowledged that they were taking the piss.
