Terrible Punning

I'd like to think that the Vulture is saying "That's it!" in regards to Maria's terrible pun.

I have no idea what the heck a man who can fly would want from a local airfield. Unless it's some sort of gun. It's probably some sort of gun, isn't it?

If Maria Lopez is supposed to be hosting a Letterman-style late night talk show, she should maybe, y'know, have a guest on sometime. Or tell a joke.

"...a local airfield"? What, is the Herb and Jamaal guy ghost-writing Spider-Man now? Maybe tomorrow Maria will say something like "Boy, I sure wish some superhero would appear to battle any supervillain who happens to be threatening our city."

In the first panel, Maria uses the Yellow-Voice-That-Comes-Through-Electronics-Like-Telephones-and-TV-Sets, only she appears in the flesh.

She is, therefore, some kind of robot, almost certainly evil. And certainly boring.

I'm hoping that Vulture is going to get hit by a plane when he visits the airfield. Then Mark Trail can come out to write an article about the rise in bird strikes. Oh, it'll be the bestest crossover ever!

Mario Lopez became expendable when she made such a horrible pun. I mean, it wasn't even a good-bad pun.

I've got a crazy idea... Instead of petitioning Spider-Man to catch the Vulture, how about paying him to do it?

Maria's pun was so bad it made me laugh, so it was a good pun kind of lol!
