Fate of Peter Parker

Yet he will do everything in his power to subvert this fate in order to go back out and fight a guy dressed in a Vulture costume. Whom, I might add, he did not tackle. He more sashayed in and totally blew it in every single regard. Also, it looks like Mary Jane is just a torso in panel one. Creepy.

MJ's just preparing for her next role: the remake of "Boxing Helena." Coming soon... direct to DVD!

Finally we get back to the primary plot point that set up this whole Vulture battle: Peter Parker's close brush with death, in the form of flu. One degree? One stinkin' degree? Wow, it's almost as bad as The Plague.

99.6 is well within the healthy range of human temperature.

Holy crap. I'm sorry. I didn't mean to call it last week; I was being sarcastic.

Oh God, this strip is every bit as bad as I think when I'm being utterly, completely uncharitable to it.

His temperature if high because he's getting hot from his wife!

Man, I used to get temperatures of 104 all the time. This really is the lowest of Peter's lack of commitment to his job.

Dang, did somebody call this last week? I was wondering if his flu was gonna resurface myself. The things I go through to get my married Spidey fix.

If you wrote a comic strip about a superhero and could make him do whatever you wanted, why would you make him weak and unable to fight tyranny, albeit in the form of a flying vulture man?
