Jameson is pretty much babbling today, isn't he? Nice to know he's finally gone around the bend, but perhaps this will lead into a storyline where it's revealed that Jameson has developed schizophrenia and "Simon Krandis" is just another facet of Jameson himself. Once he realizes this, he will retire to Florida muttering about Spider-Man. Unfortunately, the truth will most likely be just as exciting as all that.TIL: Jameson's attempt at ventriloquism in panel one.

I realize that JJ is a blowhard with absolutely no self-awareness, but it's pretty extraordinary for him to rant on and on about how he is the oracle, chronicler and conscience of a city he just returned to after several weeks doing a TV show in LA. At the very least, Peter or Robbie might point this out.
By the way, Peter... if you're going to whisper theatrically about someone in the room, PUT YOUR HAND BETWEEN YOUR MOUTH AND THAT PERSON. No wonder JJ overheard you: you're whispering directly toward him!
