Internet

Well, a slow Monday. Just a recap of yesterday, or more precisely something letting us know what happened yesterday. In case, you know, we didn't get a Sunday paper. Luckily, in the age of the Internet, we don't need to worry about that. Thank you, Internet!

I've never been to LA, but I've always thought of it as a city without an urban center -- and the very tall buildings required for top-quality web-slinging. Indeed, the city scenes in this strip all appear to be kind of spread-out -- wide streets and low-to-medium buildings. And then there's Spidey, shooting a web toward the, what, 40th floor of some invisible building?

And speaking of nonsense, how about a superhero with a secret identity (and secretly married to Hollywood's hottest young actress) actually agreeing to a live interview on TV? With an experienced and amoral (willing to flirt with J. Jonah, ick) TV reporter? Here's where the Spider-Sense ought to be going off like a fire alarm.
