This is really moving at a glacial pace right now. At least Dara Dorset realizes Peter is in Los Angeles as well. Peter, who is being his usually whiny self... I just realized what's probably to probably happen. Kurt Kordok is going to see the Dara Dorset interview, then he'll send his men to kidnap the supposed wife of Spider-Man in order to draw the web-slinger out and finish him.
Stan Lee, you used to be so good at the comics writing. It's not that you're bad, but if someone read this and one of the early "Amazing Spider-Man" comics, they would be hard-pressed to see any similarities in the writing. Please regain your talent, Mister Lee. Stamp your wooden staff on the ground or shout "SHAZAM!" or whatever you have to do. Go see the Ancient One, if that's what it takes: just regain the talent you had for writing good, exciting comics. Please?

You're probably right on the Kordok-getting-involved theory. And I agree the strips are very...uninteresting lately. But who knows? Stan has surprised us before. Maybe Peter will become irrational and think that if MJ left him to shoot the movie, perhaps he should be seen with Ms. Dorset to make MJ jealous. I hope that doesn't happen, just speculatin' is all...
What with all this talk of Spider-Man, Peter Parker, and Mary Jane Watson in various combinations, you'd think somebody would start wondering about the massive coincidence that all three of them are in L.A. at the same time, and putting 2+2 together about Spidey's secret identity. Especially with all these Emmy-winning journalists around.
