Weak Against Virus

Viruses have been known to way-lay the wall-crawler, so this is actually pretty accurate. This does not excuse Mary Jane's lame joke, however.

As a matter of fact, a virus once incapacitated Spider-Man when he was fighting the Vulture (Adrian Toomes, I believe). Stan Lee, I'm ashamed of you. Well, more ashamed.

Since Spider-Man's body is highly resistant to drugs and poisons, does that mean he has to chug an entire bottle of Robitussin just to get some relief?

I'm waiting for him to have a diarrhea attack all over the floor. And that's all I have to say about that.

Poor ol' Petey is weaving around, barely able to stand, possibly about to hork up his Spidey-Lunch on the living room carpet... and MJ steps back, puts a big grin on her face, and makes an old, bad pun.

Can this marriage be saved???

Wow. That joke MJ told sucked. HARD.

You know, I love a god-awful joke rather more than the next guy, but even I have to shake my head at that one. Peter should be glad that he probably won't remember it in his fevery state or he'd call Mephisto as soon as he was able.

Yeah, it was in Amazing Spider-Man #48 and against Blackie Drago Vulture at that!

It was one of the first Spider-Man stories I read.

And that's a darn good question about medicine, Aaron. Does Spidey have to take a higher dose or does he get a special prescription from the Night Nurse?

Other food for thought...if Pete got the flu, guess who stands of getting it next...yep. Pete and MJ are going to be too sick to get work done, the rent won't be paid, and they'll be forced to go on the run.

Pete will see every financial planner, but none of them will be able to help him, all of which leads into a deal with the devil himself, 'ol Fisty. x_X

Don't worry, though...MJ and Spidey passing the flu back and forth is plot enough for at least a few more months.

"NEXT: Feed a cold, starve a Spider!"

Reggie White Jr? I saw one of your performances, I thought you didn't spend any time on the internet.

'Though that show must've been 3-4 years ago.
