All we need to do now is see what Jonah has to say about this, and we're done with this storyline. Which means there should be an actual super-villain coming up pretty soon, thank god. Hopefully it'll also mean that Spider-Man won't be spouting off Hitchhiker-like platitudes. He's supposed to a quipster, after all, not a philosopher.
Ah, and here's a lame sort of Spider-Man reference:Just not that impressed with it. Your mileage may vary.

If there was a scene with Persuader talking to Jonathan Caesar as he transitions to the afterlife, as that both men have died and been enamored with Mary Jane...
...but nah, Persuader will probably be picked up by Silvermane and made into a cyborg and when Persuader wakes up he'll be like Darth Vader and yell, "NuuuuooOOOOOOOHHHHH!!!!"
And I wonder if Spidey is on another Webs tour in that other cartoon. :P
But can we really end this storyline without dealing with the escaped Godero? Yes, yes we can.
I love the phrasing in that first panel. It makes it sound like Krandis is likely to sue for the right to bribe someone to get out of prison.
I hope we don't have to see that.
