Notice how Maria is eating like a person just plucked off a desert island. The notion of a high-profile TV personality being so eager for a free meal is absurd for two reasons...
-- She'd expense all her meals anyway, and
-- She'd be eating light to "keep her figure."
Unless, of course, she's bulimic. Maybe that's the next plot twist.
I feel sorry for The J, his affections being toyed with like that.
