Retro Repeat

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you today's strip:When I saw this, I was appalled. Why, you ask? Simply because the exact same thing happened in "Amazing Spider-Man" #2:For shame, Stan Lee! For shame!

I have to admit that I do like the moneybags, though.

I never read that comic, so today's strip took me completely be surprise and made me laugh. It's just so stupid looking. I want more strips of the Vulture committing robberies by popping out of unexpected places.

The Vulture, with his superhuman ability to arrive unexpectedly!

I like how in the older one they're delivering money to Tron.

Mmm, flying through the sewers. Nice trick. Must be hell to clean the bird suit, tho.

you'll notice in both comics there is a guard with a gun but strangely enough they are never used!

Good point, Bryce. I'd love if, just once (and it really would be just once, by definition), the following happened:

Vulture (pops out of manhole): I wouldn't bet on --

Guard with shotgun: Holy crap! *BLAM*

Vulture: Hrrrkkkkththkhhhhh *THUD*

Guard without shotgun: Help me put this manhole cover back on. Neither of us saw anything.

I noticed one of them has a gun. And he's not using it. Why, I ask you, WHY?!

The Vulture escaped with the moneybags, leaving the real money safely hidden under the victims' hats.

LOL Stan repeats all of the time. Spidey being sick while Blackie Vulture was on the loose was taken from the story that happened when Blackie Drago first put on the costume.

At least it can be said that the Vulture isn't just a one-note guy.
